1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using tutorqatar.com (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Platform. These Terms apply to students, parents/guardians, prospective tutors, and any other visitor to the Platform.

2. Description of Service

TutorQatar is a tutor-matching platform. We connect students and parents in Qatar with independent tutors for academic support in subjects including Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English, and Computer Science, at high school and university level.

TutorQatar personally reviews and screens tutors before they are made available for matching. However, tutors are independent individuals, not employees of TutorQatar. TutorQatar acts as a matching and referral service; the tutoring sessions themselves are conducted directly between the tutor and the student/family.

3. Eligibility & Use by Minors

Our Platform is used by students who may be under the age of 18. If you are submitting a request as a parent or guardian on behalf of a minor, you confirm that you have the legal authority to do so and consent to TutorQatar processing the minor's information as described in our Privacy Policy. If you are the student and under 18, please have a parent or guardian assist with or approve your request.

4. Submitting a Request

When you submit the "Hire a Tutor" form, you agree to provide accurate and complete information about the student's needs. Our team will review your request and aim to respond with a suggested tutor match, typically within 24 hours, via WhatsApp or email.

Submitting a request does not guarantee a match will be found, and TutorQatar reserves the right to decline any request at its discretion — for example, if we do not currently have a suitably vetted tutor for the subject or level requested.

5. Becoming a Tutor

If you apply to become a tutor through our "Become a Tutor" form, you agree that the information you provide about your qualifications, experience, and subject expertise is accurate and truthful. TutorQatar reviews all tutor applications and may accept, reject, or request further information before approving a tutor to join our network. Approval is at TutorQatar's sole discretion.

Tutors who join our network remain independent contractors responsible for the quality and delivery of their own tutoring sessions. TutorQatar's vetting process is intended to support quality and trust but does not constitute a guarantee of a tutor's performance.

6. Fees & Payments

TutorQatar's service is supported by a commission charged on tutoring sessions arranged through introductions made via the Platform. Specific pricing and payment terms will be communicated directly to students/parents and tutors as part of the matching process. TutorQatar does not currently process live in-app payments; payment arrangements are confirmed directly with each party as part of finalizing a match.

7. User Conduct

When using the Platform, you agree not to:

• Provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information;
• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose;
• Attempt to circumvent, disrupt, or interfere with the Platform's normal operation;
• Harass, discriminate against, or behave inappropriately toward tutors, students, or the TutorQatar team.

8. Limitation of Liability

TutorQatar takes reasonable steps to vet tutors before matching, but we do not guarantee specific academic outcomes, results, or the ongoing conduct of any tutor or student. To the fullest extent permitted by law, TutorQatar shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform or from a tutoring relationship formed through it.

Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable Qatari law.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, branding, graphics, and design — is the property of TutorQatar unless otherwise stated, and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without our prior written permission.

10. Termination

TutorQatar reserves the right to suspend or discontinue access to the Platform for any user, at our discretion, including where we believe these Terms have been violated.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time as our services evolve. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Qatar.
